Welcome Hotel gets Scandinavia's green approval

In the autumn of 2008 we at WelcomeGruppen began our environmental programme, and we're now seeing the results. Barkarby Gård Fest & Konferens with the Lasse Maja Inn, as well as the Welcome Hotel now have the Swan certification. Riddersviks Gård will join them soon.


The Swan is Scandinavia's official environmental certification. It involves a thorough Life Cycle Analysis of all goods and services. The environmental requirements are rigid, as are the requirements regarding function and quality. The Swan vision is a sustainable society with sustainable consumption. At Welcome Hotel we work with a constant focus on the environment. In addition to our commitment to green issues, we pay special attention to organic food practices. Whether you want a conference, accommodation or a meal, it will be environmental, energy efficient and with a broad selection of organic and locally produced goods.
